The Amazing Race 17 – No Speed Bump This Week

no speedbump week for nick and vickiFor those wondering, this week during The Amazing Race 17, you may have noticed that Nick and Vicki didn’t have to do the speed bump, despite finishing last the previous week.  This was due to an error with the sheet music challenge, where they were actually correct much earlier than given credit for, so they were not forced to do the speed bump.   It likely would have been a 10 min sitting on bench penalty or something lame, and the error last week most likely cost them well more than 10 minutes.  It would have been nice if they clued us in.

I will be doing a recap in the afternoon on Monday so stick around for it 🙂  This was just a quick update because I’m sure people are curious

How would you know this information??? If it’s from Nick’s fb page, my question is that I thought not one contestant is supposed to say anything about the race until AFTER the last episode?? If not, then are you someone who works for the show, cause how are we supposed to believe you if you’re not??

That is a good point, but I’ve seen other contestants also make comments about the show through the season. I’m not sure the terms of their contract however.

I also don’t believe this excuse. Someone from the show should give us a good explanation. I was sad that the father and son team got eliminated.

I’m with you, I’d like a real reason from the show. It’s kind of weird they just decided to pretend it never happened.

And there was an equalizer at the clown thing. They basically negated ANY disadvantage they had. Now there is nobody to root for.
